For Immediate Release

Range and Natural Resources Camp is a week-long event that immerses 24 students throughout California, ages 15-18, in science and topics related to rangelands, forests and riparian areas. Conducted by the California-Pacific Section of the Society for Range Management, this is a unique opportunity for students considering college to learn about fields of study in natural resources, or for students looking for future job opportunities. 

Glenn County high school students have until April 28th to submit an application to potentially receive a scholarship.  Scholarships are being offered by the Glenn County Resource Conservation District (RCD), through its RCD Connects with Kids program, and the Glenn County Farm Bureau.

Interested high school students must complete a two-part application process 1) Fill out application, RCD commitment form and return to the RCD office by 4:30 p.m., April 28th, and 2) Participate in an interview.
