Kandi Manhart-Belding
Kandi Manhart-Belding is a Farmer’s daughter! Agriculture is her heritage as she is the fourth generation in a farming family. Her family’s farm is located in Colusa County, between Williams and Arbuckle, where she grew up being involved in 4-H, FFA and sports. In 2003, Kandi graduated California State University, Chico with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Business, emphasis in Marketing. In pursuit of additional learning opportunities, she obtained her Real Estate license and worked part-time for a 501(c)3 that focused on creating local jobs until taking her position with the RCD in 2005. She enjoys working with people to help address resource issues and pursuing opportunities that benefit Agriculture, Natural Resources and local communities. She truly believes there is a balance needed amongst all resources, people and landscapes, to ensure a healthy ecosystem for future generations. When not working, Kandi loves to be outdoors, traveling to new places and spending time with friends and family.
