High School Speak-Off

2018 >>California Association of Resource Conservation Districts (CARCD) Annual Speak-Off Contest<<

Topic: “How can RCDs help landowners reduce the threat of fires?”

High School students interested in agriculture, resource conservation or the environment, and in the 9th – 12th grade levels, can compete in the RCD’s contest! Local talents may be seen at the local level and have a chance at the regional, or even State level if the students advance with their prepared speech.

Local Awards:  $100-First + Advancement to Regional Contest; $75-Second; $50-Third
Regional Awards:  $100-First + Advancement to State Contest; $75-Second; $50-Third
State Awards:  $300-First; $200-Second; $100-Third
