Topic: “Why do we need to act to save the monarch butterfly? What can RCDs do to help?”
High School students interested in agriculture, resource conservation or the environment, and in the 9th – 12th grade levels, can compete in the RCD’s contest! Local talents may be seen at the local level and have a chance at the regional, or even State level if the students advance with their prepared speech.
Local Awards: $100-First + Advancement to Regional Contest; $75-Second; $50-Third
Regional Awards: $150-First + Advancement to State Contest; $125-Second; $100-Third
State Awards: $300-First; $200-Second; $100-Third
