The Glenn County RCD has been awarded a grant through the USDA Farmers’ Market Promotion Program (FMPP) for the start-up of a Glenn County Certified Farmers’ Market. An important meeting is scheduled for March 3, 2010 at 10:00 a.m at the Willows City Hall, 201 N. Lassen Street, in Willows. Meeting topics to include 2010 Market location and dates and the creation of a Market Association. For more information, call (530) 934-4601 x120. The Glenn County RCD is proud to announce the Lower Stony Creek Watershed Restoration Plan (Plan) is now complete and available on-line. The Plan will be formally presented at two meetings: Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) Meeting on February 8, 2010, 9:00a.m. and the Landowner Advisory Committee (LAC) Meeting on February 8, 2010 at 5:30 p.m. Both meetings will be held at the Carnegie Center, 912 E. 3rd Street, Orland, CA.
Due to the document size, the Plan is formatted into 2 separate files. The main document, containing only 1 map, can be accessed at the link above.

The Lower Stony Creek Watershed Restoration Plan includes a total of 26 maps. To facilitate downloading time, 25 of the maps have been saved as a separate file which can be accessed via the above link.
